Wild Goose Chase.... I made this quilt top from the block of the month challenge I put out for my guild this month. My challenge was to use 2 colors you would not normally put together. Some of my blocks have fabrics that I'd never put together, but I have to admit, I did do a couple in color combos that I do like. I'm trying to decide on a border fabric now. Then, I think I'll do a row of hst's all the way around, followed by another plain border.
I'm slowly working on my Batik Explosion, too. Since my hours are not quite so wild as they have been, I've actually been finding time to sew! I didn't realize how much I'd missed it! Maybe I'll find more time to add things to here, too!

Pictures..........finally.. Well, I finally got a picture of the quilt I recently finished. Well, it was hand quilted for me by my neighbor lady and I did the binding. (I had pieced the quilt from a BOM with my LQS) It is called Harvest Spice, and one day, I'll get a good picture of the WHOLE thing, showing borders and all.

Below the quilt are 2 pictures of a purse I made myself today. It is about 18" wide and 12" tall. The basic pattern is from a book, but I did it MY way, with the pockets and all. It has a huge pocket on either side of the inside, too. I do need to find some kind of clasp or something so I can close it. I don't really like a purse that flops open when you set it down.

I hit publish post before I had time to do an explanation for the pics, and I know I could go back in and edit that post, but decided to just do it this way instead!
