This I did make! I'm afraid it'll be to big for my granddaughter when she's born, but not for long! This one was a trial run. I'll make more, with different ribbons and flowers.

I didn't make this one, but wanted to show it off just the same! It is being raffled at our local fair this summer and was made by one of our guild members, and quilted by another. I think it's gorgeous and I plan on buying lots of tickets!

He has his own sunglasses! Just had taken them off before we took that picture of the 3 of us. And those are Mark and my new glasses. Mark has always had the polarized or whatever they call the glasses that get dark, but this is my first pair. I like them til I go into a dark building after being out in the sun! Takes them a minute to adjust.

BIG NEWS.......and Grandma's big boy...

First, the big news......our new grandbaby is a GIRL!!! Woohoo! We're all so excited. Another boy would have been fine, but now we'll have one of each!

We got to go visit the kids yesterday and it had been 6 weeks since we'd seen Caleb. Can't believe how much he's grown. A good couple of inches. And he's talking and just doing so much for himself. He's such a sweetheart. We had a great visit.

I've been busy planting flowers the last few days. Still have more to plant. We always buy lots, but for some reason, this year, I bought them all at once, so that makes it seem like a lot more work! They're looking great, though! I also started a strawberry bed. Hope they do well! I'm sure the terrapins will like them. They ate what few hung low enough from the strawberry pot last year!
